The Professional Service Group of Central New Jersey (PSGCNJ) is the nation’s first employment community that helps its unemployed, professional members advance their careers by putting them back into the workforce.
I was involved in helping students to improve their verbal and written communication skills, and encouraging students to expand their social networks.
PSGCNJ was originally part of the N.J. Department of Labor’s Professional Service Group program, which was launched in June 2008. There were 11 statewide chapters, including PSGCNJ, which was based in Somerville, N.J. The State of New Jersey defunded the PSG program on May 25, 2012.
